Director of Building Technologies

We have partnered with a well-established systems integrator and technology provider serving commercial real estate, critical facilities and public sector estates across the UK. Following significant investment in its IoT and BMS platforms, the business is seeking a technically credible Director to drive solution delivery and pre-sales capability.

Role summary: Responsible for technical sales enablement, solution architecture, and delivery of integrated building management projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead technical proposal development and pre-sales engineering;
• Oversee delivery teams and ensure project governance;
• Define product integration standards and interoperability strategies;
• Drive client workshops and executive briefings;
• Manage relationships with system integrators and channel partners.

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or similar;
• 8+ years in building management systems, IoT or systems integration;
• Strong stakeholder engagement at C-suite and FM levels;
• UK driving licence and readiness to travel regionally.
