VP Commercial Strategy – Electrical & Power Systems

Our client is a specialist in distributed energy resources, critical power and grid-edge solutions with a growing US customer base across utilities, data centres and industrial facilities. The VP Commercial Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping how the business captures market share as the energy transition accelerates.

Role summary: Lead commercial strategy, pricing, partnerships and new business models to grow market share in distributed energy resources and critical power.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing and commercial frameworks for complex bids;
  • Build strategic alliance programs and channel partnerships;
  • Lead commercial due diligence for M&A and partnerships;
  • Coach sales leadership on deal structuring and value-selling;
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Candidate profile:

  • 10+ years in commercial strategy within power, grid, or energy storage sectors;
  • Strategy consulting or in-house corporate strategy experience advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management.
