Flowtec are partnered with a leading HVAC, Refrigeration and Foodservice equipment wholesale distribution business with a strong presence across the United States. The Texas division, comprising approximately 50 branches, is a key contributor to our clients overall success. Established in 1945 our client has been delivering on all fronts and have more than 200 Sales Centers and operate out of 26 States across the US.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Divisional President for our Texas operations. This role is crucial for driving the division’s growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The Divisional President will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the division, including sales, operations, finance, and human resources, while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the division’s growth and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Ensure the division aligns with the company’s overall vision, mission, and goals.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations across all 50 branches, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices to optimize supply chain, inventory management, and logistics.
- Monitor and manage operational KPIs to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing:
- Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and market penetration.
- Foster strong relationships with key customers and vendors.
Financial Management:
- Manage the division’s P&L, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of hands-on senior sales and operations leadership experience; two-step distribution and/or B2B environment preferred.
- Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, operations, and leadership roles.
- Proven ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization to meet corporate and division goals working effectively across diverse functions within a business.
- Solid finance and business acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L and analyzing sales and market data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion.
- Prior experience attracting and retaining top talent and building high performing teams
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Technology oriented. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite as well as sales management and Business Intelligence software.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
