Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced European Account Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our client base within the water or power industries across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market share within the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including engineering firms, contractors, and end-users, to understand their needs and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to showcase our capabilities and value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale to secure profitable business opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management to support strategic decision-making and planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management within the water or power industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of industrial valves and related equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Network in Water & Power industry
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
