Senior Account Manager – Vacuum (m/w/d)

We are now looking for a technically experienced and marketing-oriented Sales Key Account Manager (m/f/d) for the NRW/North Hesse/South Lower Saxony region (e.g. Braunschweig, Göttingen, Kassel, Münster, Düsseldorf, Cologne) in the home office.

What you can expect from the role

Exciting – Your tasks:

  • First point of contact for existing customers, as well as acquisition of new customers in your own sales area
  • Development and implementation of territory and business plans, sales targets and strategies to increase market share
  • Analysis of market potential for new products and applications
  • Collaboration with related departments such as internal sales, marketing, sales operations and product management
  • Technical advice on suitable, holistic customer solutions
  • Conducting sales negotiations, preparing and following up on offers
  • Maintenance of the internal CRM tool

What we expect from you

Convincing – Your profile:

You are extremely knowledgeable about the world of vacuum, have a strong personal presence and are very service-oriented, combined with a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting. A high level of willingness to travel within the sales area is essential, specifically around 3 – 4 days per week. In addition, you should also have the following:

  • Successfully completed studies in physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering or comparable
  • At least 5-7 years of sales experience and a proven track record in technical sales of products requiring explanation, preferably vacuum products
  • Very good, practical knowledge of German and English
  • Consulting affinity and sales orientation with the ability to manage relationships effectively, enjoyment of working in a team
  • Good commercial knowledge, understanding of contract terms and negotiations
