Test Engineer

For a client located in Brussels, we are looking for a Freelance Test Engineer.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the quality of our projects through meticulous testing practices

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies tailored to project requirements.
• Estimate efforts and plan test activities accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with functional analysts and developers to align on requirements and designs.
• Prepare test conditions meticulously.
• Execute test conditions rigorously and document any issues encountered.
• Automate specific test scenarios to enhance efficiency.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress.
• Deliver and execute test cases just in time for current sprints, maintaining agility.
• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint review sessions.

Your profile :

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in testing roles
• Proficiency in crafting and executing test scripts
• Familiarity with test automation and reporting tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and SoapUI
• Ability to comprehend Java code
• Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of the Invest domain is advantageous
• Knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English
