We are a well-established and reputable recruitment company and work with some of the largest Engineering organizations globally as well as many fast-growing SME businesses.
We’ve got offices in the UK, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Brussels, Rotterdam, Madrid and Dallas.
We are expanding our Birmingham team and are therefore looking for a Principal Recruitment Consultant to manage our Engineering Division.
The focus will be on the UK, European and US market.
As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for your own desk. The main focus will be to build your client base in the EU and US.
Furthermore, you’ll be developing new and existing businesses within the Engineering markets and making use of Engineering platforms to deliver an efficient effective service to our customers.
It’s important to be kept up to date with the latest developments in the industry so you can deliver the best service to both customers and candidates.
Mentor junior staff members in best practice • Market mapping and business development activities •
Interviewing candidates to ensure suitability for roles and target organisations (supported by candidate engagement.) • Attending relevant industry events
Managing your own desk will also be part of your daily tasks. Which involves, liaising with large global clients, and headhunting high-level specialists in the Engineering sector all over Europe, the UK and the US.
An essential part of your job will be to build and maintain longstanding relationships with candidates and large accounts.
The ideal candidate for this role:
At least 2 years of experience as a 360 Recruitment consultant is preferred.
A strong billing history
A friendly, confident, and driven individual with a growth mindset.
Ability to be self-motivated
Excellent communication skills, resilience, professionalism, and perseverance.
A proven track record and experience with cold desks.
Ability to lead in a supportive and collaborative manner
