Account Manager – Machine vision

The Position:

Is key for the further growth and business development in Benelux.
Manages the customer relations with accounts in these countries, with the objective to expand existing accounts further and to use them as reference for winning additional accounts and key accounts.
Analyses the market further and defines and implements strategies to systematically develop the market.
Has the main objective to get “designed/in” to products or machines of manufacturers in the target market segments of the company (usually for the life time of the products or machines).
Is supported by several product managers and application experts in Germany to develop tailored customer solutions as well as by pre and after sales support engineers.
Offers the entrepreneurial chance to develop a leading business further and to be an important player in the growing business of industrial image processing.

The Main Tasks:

Secure and expand the existing accounts in the named countries.
Develop and implement strategies and yearly business plan to systematically develop new business (with focus on target accounts) by providing standard or customer specific solutions.
Develop sales by offering technical advice to system integrators and machine builders and by offering superior solutions to their needs.
Assure correct, effective and customer-oriented execution of sales.
Serve as link between key accounts and the company head office in Germany, as well as the Balluff subsidiary.
Participate at fairs, industry events and similar.
Provide market and application feedback to the Head Office.

Several years of experience in the industrial camera/vision business.
Several years of sales experience
Business development skills: Finding and developing additional potential customers in the target industries
Enjoy travelling to customers all over the Benelux, with the aim to inspire and retain them with our customer’s products in the long term
