For over 85 years, my client has been a global supplier of precision components in rubber and plastic. Specializing in complex assemblies for the Food, Health, and Mobility markets, they collaborate closely with customers to develop products from various materials. Their unique combination of knowledge-intensive and cost-effective development positions them uniquely in the world of precision parts.

What You’ll Do: As an Account Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the sales and marketing team, which comprises a total of seven members. Working closely with both (potential) clients and internal colleagues, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact from initial quotation to final delivery. Your primary focus will be on the mobility industry, with an emphasis on business development, alongside sales tasks and relationship management.

Your responsibilities will include:

Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and external partners to foster collaborations.
Contributing to the development and maintenance of knowledge networks.
Translating plans into detailed acquisition and implementation activities.
Conducting market research and integrating market trends and customer preferences into sales plans.
Enhancing customer lifetime value among existing clients.
Building and managing a robust sales funnel systematically.
Crafting a comprehensive customer journey, incorporating online and offline touchpoints.
Collaborating closely with engineers, finance, and production colleagues to deliver suitable products.
Effectively managing extended sales cycles.
Completing the checklist for new (development) requests for proposals based on quote requests.
Generating cost price calculations and determining technical requirements for customers.
Drafting complex multi-year framework contracts.
Following up on and extending (price) agreements, documenting them in designated systems.
Reporting to the Commercial Director.
In the team and organization, initiative is encouraged, and open discussions about areas for improvement are highly valued.
What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Economics, or a related field.
A natural connector, fostering relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role and environment.
Solution-oriented, independent, analytical, and critical thinker.
Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality results under time constraints.
Availability for a full-time position (40 hours per week).
Proficiency in both German and English.
