Due to the substantial growth in the sector Flowtec are expanding their Aquaculture division. We are looking for an experienced recruitment consultant who has a passion for wildlife, sustainability, and the environment.

Flowtec now offers you an opportunity to work as our Recruitment Consultant for our Aquaculture customers market, from our office in Birmingham!

Flowtec Engineering is an international search and selection consultancy, specialized in the provision of niche recruitment and headhunting solutions for a variety of sectors within the Engineering industry. We are a well-established and reputable recruitment company and work with some of the largest engineering organizations globally as well as many fast growth SME businesses.

We have an office in Dusseldorf, Antwerp, Brussels, Rotterdam, Madrid and soon Dubai.

At Flowtec we are growing tremendously and as we have been working and developing the UAE market, we are now looking to give you the reigns over this market with a long-term objective for potential relocation.

The Role:

We are looking for a professional who is willing to have an impact through their role as recruitment consultant. Apply your knowledge by conversing with companies and candidates in the industry and stay up to date with relevant developments through your conversations.


Building strong relationships with Customers and identify their needs.
Identifying quality candidates, providing information about the roles available and booking interviews if suitable.
Screen candidates with a specific background and apply your knowledge of aquaculture to understand and assess their skillset.
Sorting through applications and contacting suitable applicants. Have excellent administration skills, providing pre-interview information and directions.
Able to work towards and exceed targets with a confident, ambitious spirit while upholding quality. Providing feedback to candidates in a timely manner. Maintaining job boards, posting job specs and filtering CV’s.

Skills And Experience:

Experience in or knowledge of the industry is required.
Have a growth mindset. You’re always looking to improve your own knowledge and capacities. As well as those of everyone across the team.
Friendly, approachable and people orientated.
Fantastic telephone and video manners.
Excellent, networking and relationship management skills, a network in the aquaculture scene if a plus.
Strong organizational abilities (including the ability to handle multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously and lead a team).
Strong communication, including both questioning and listening skills and ensuring empathy.
